To get off of a med or wait until acute is over. I want off my seroquel ASAP. Feel like everyday I'm taking it I'm ingesting poison. Got a compound and thinking if starting a slow 5% taper.

Personally, I'd wait till I was out of acute benzo w/d's.

Personally, I would not want to risk causing my symptoms during acute to become worse, so I would wait to begin my next taper when I was feeling more stable.

Hi Satch. Your question is a tricky one. On one hand u could stay on the seroquel and wait till u even out... If u do. Or u could go for it and dump the drug and hold on for the fallout.

    As u know I just grit my teeth and went for it. I felt like u...that I was swallowing poison. So , I felt I had to get off it.

      U have to way up how u feel. Does it help u sleep? Are u worried about not having  sleep aid? Only u can answer these questions. Just as only u can decide what to do. Personally, I'm glad I'm off it. It's been about 6 weeks now and I am only just staring to dream again. I see that as a positive .
