Off of benzos for close to 4 years, protracted

I've been off of benzos for nearly 4 years now, off of anti-depressants for 3.  I'm currently protracted, with some pretty god-awful sxs still left, can barely stand or walk, lots of muscles spasms and trembling.  What a ride to say the least, a ride that I can't wait for it to end, but I'd hanging on till the end.

Welcome to Benzobuddies Congratulations on being 4 years benzo free. I am so sorry your experiencing withdrawal symptoms, this far out. I don't know why but some of us take longer to heal.  Hang in there, I believe you will heal eventually. Hi Smitten Kitten,

Don't despair, there are many folks on the protracted section. Benzos-wd

can take a long time , so you are not alone.
