Day 6, Xanax Free

I know, I haven't made many posts on here but I certainly have come to BenzoBuddies many times through the last couple of years when things got tough just to know I wasn't alone in all of this. I want to thank everyone on here for posting your journeys, it really has helped me through this.

 

I know my taper is unusual and very long. I started with a very strict taper and then part of the way through decided to go with a more flexible one. It worked well for me. The point is though, I made it!

 

I am on day 6 of being benzo free. I can't believe I finally did it. There were many times I didn't think I would but here I am!! I feel good, not great, but good. 

 

Again, thanks to everyone on here! If I can do this, anybody can!!

benzos normally take about a week to leave your system, some advice I think your next few days might SUCK . So be prepared.

Thanks for the advice. I'm actually a couple of weeks in and I feel like death alright. It's no fun. Any other advice you have for me would be greatly appreciated. You're an inspiration and one day I hope to be where you are.
