Advise please: Direct taper from T to V; what to do next? Worried about WD's

Hello everyone.

How's your taper progressing?

 

So I'm at 2.5 mg Valium and feeling a bit better. How long have u generally waited before tapering down? My situation is that I was between 3-5 mg Temazapan for 8 months prior to the direct taper to 2.5 mg V.    Switched from T to V on 9/2.  Could I conceivingly go down to 2 mg V within 7 days?  I could move down more slowly for sure.  2.5 to 2.3 lets say, but how long would you stay there? Wondering about the WD's but I'm not wanting to get to caught up in the V either. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I can't tell you how to taper. It's up to you and your body. But I will tell you that I have dropped my K every two weeks with no ill effects. I also did a partial C/O to valium. So once I am finished with my K taper of every two weeks, my pdoc told me I'll have to wait three weeks before I drop my doses because Valium has such a long half life and he wants time to see how I will react to the drop.

Glad u have no side effects

I get GI issues and brain fog and some heart palpitations

Nausea and Fatigue.  Sucks not feeling at peace...ready for a shift.
