How to stop worrying

About the future. Even when I get a little break I live in terror of what's coming next. Tapers and more life losses. How do you find a way to stay in the moment.

Hi Satch

I just have to do something. If I don't my mind starts thinking gloomy thoughts.

I do puzzles. They need sufficient concentration to stop me worrying but are not too difficult given my cog fog.

Computer games would help. Also posting here on BB.

Take care, Buddy

I'm confused about what you mean with "more life losses." Are you grieving, Satch? Or is this "life losses" in a more general sense?

Satch, I make of list of things I can do to distract myself everyday, I try to have some structure, every night I plan activities for the next day. It works for me, because I go in and out of waves and windows daily, sometimes every 20 mintues, or hour, I go from one extreme to the other that quickly.

My lists includes: 2 hour movies on tv, read 1/2 hour, 1/2 hour internet, 1 hour housework, 1 hour walk, 1 hour work on puzzles, 1 hour shop, 1/2 hour phone with friend/family, walk in zoo, clean out closet

I am hoping maybe in a few months I could volunteer at the public library. Right now I am not dependable, because my sxs are so harsh....but I have to keep busy, I guess it all comes back to distraction.......

I read alot of your posts, Satch, we are close to the same timeline, I know exactly how you feel, I so understand, But I do believe we will heal.
