need help with syringe and graduated cylinder understanding

Recommended Posts

hello everyone--i have my taper plan all set but wanted to ask a few questions regarding syringes, graduated cylinder, etc.

i will be doing SG57s' plan of putting my 2mg (after crushing) into 100ml milk and taking out 1ml for 2 weeks, then go up to 1.25, hold for 2 weeks, and then 1.5 which would take me to 3ml --and staying there until i reach the magic number of 100 which will equal the 2mg dose.

i have a 100 graduated cylinder plus a 10ml syringe and just a smaller jar i can use to draw from, a la diaz-pam.

i'm ok with taking out the even number, but what do i do when it is like 15.25 (the 15part is ok but what about the .25)

or 21.5

or 22.75

so i basically need help in the .5, .25, .75 after whatever number i'm at how i extract that syringe-wise.

when i get up to reducing 50, what is the suggestion, take 10 of my 10ml and take out or use my graduated cylinder (which has 1ml graduations)--i'm throwing out  a lot of milk.

if i can get this learned, i will be all set.

i need some detailed instructions and i'll print them out and add to my notes.

thanks, everyone!

Hey toulouz,

If i understand you correctly...you are tapering 1ml/cc (same thing) per day, yes?

When you are reading the syringe you should have major lines at the 1,2,3...10ml lines. The smaller lines are 1/10th of a ml.

Read as: 1.1ml, 1.2ml, 1.3ml etc....then 2.0ml (major line), 2.1ml, 2.2ml...etc

To get .25, .5, .75 on these large syringes is pretty difficult. If you can go to a pharmacy and get a 1ml/cc syringe this will make the process much easier.

On the small syringe the major lines are at 1, 2, 3....etc- all the way to 10- which is 1ml/cc.

The smaller lines are .2ml/cc per line. So it will be easier for you to draw up a smaller portion. With this size it will be easier to draw the 1/4 dose you are looking for. With this syrine .25ml will be drawn to just past the two small lines after the large "20" on the syringe. Sometimes the syringe, depending on the maker, they will list it as .1, .2, .3....etc all the way to 1ml/cc (Google search images to clarify if you need). This is literally 20 and 5 (.20 + .05 =.25)

.50 will be two small lines past the 50

.75 will be two small lines past the 70

Im not trying to be pandering....i was a surgical tech in the USAF- spent the last few years as a science heavy pre-medical student.....we have had entire classes on how to read volumes in scientific media. Some folks havent handled syringes before. Once you know what the total measurement of the syringe is you can simply count lines!

After reading on here my taper is as follows:

1mg klonepin per day.

100ml syringe

10ml/cc syringe

Tupperware container

And a mortar and pestle for grinding the pills

I started with a 10% reduction, drawing out 10ml's and disposing of it for the first week.

This week i started drawing out and disposing of 11ml, then 12ml, then 13ml...etc per night.

This is giving me a .10mg (held), .11mg, .12mg, .13mg....and as long as i can control/deal with/handle any symptoms i will continue this and try for finishing on christmas night.

When you get to 50ml's, you can use the same amount of pills...and cut your milk in half. When you cut your milk in half you will, have to double the amount you dispose of every night, since you just concentrated your mixture. Hopefully that made sense.

Personally, im cool with disposing of a bit of milk every night just to be free of this crap drug.
