Tinnitus Worse

I had half of one beer yesterday.  Felt kinda crummy afterwards.  Woke up this morning with an increase in my tinnitus 

 

I don't understand why I am so self-defeating and self-destructive.  Why in hell did I do this to myself?  Will I ever learn to be better to myself...

 

Of course now I'm believing that the volume will not turn down again... it's now permanent at this level.

 

Anyone have experience with tinnitus & have it go away or at least not remain at the same level for a long time?

Tinnitus is the one symptom I'm happy to say has almost disappeared for me.  For several months it was quite loud but has faded to barely noticeable.

Tinnitus kept coming in waves during my withdrawal but I'm happy to say that it became less intense as the months went by I always hated tinnitus as when I heard the ringing in my ears it was usually meant that it was the beginning of a wave and more horrible symptoms like anxiety and panic would follow...
