just trying to make sure the math is right with the cut..its in my signature but the taper i did today doesnt seem like its 4% could someone please help me.

i have 2mg k twice a day..the average weight is .170..i am down to .146 on both doses..and was going to make a 4% cut total..was told that would make my dose in the morning would be .140..and .146 in the evening...so i thought to keep them both even would just meet in the middle at .143..would that be right...?

am i going to slow at just 4%..i dont want to race through this since i have to work many hours and also have been on it for 28yrs...but at this rate it seems like it will take me many yrs to get off..if i taper every 2 weeks..any input would be much appreciated.

thanks

deep

4% cut of .292 (daily) is .0117 divide by 2

.0117 divided by 2 = .00585

.146 - .00585 = .140

Deep you math is good! Hope your doing well

I get the same number

If each dose currently weighs .146g and you want to make a 4% cut from your total daily dose you would make each pill weigh 4% less than it weighs now.

.146g x .96 = .140g
