Any experience with MetroGel (metronidazole gel)?

Hi everyone!

 

My dermatologist gave me some MetroGel for mild to moderate rosacea. Honesly my rosacea really doesn't bother me that much, but recently I've been having a flare up, so I wanted to see if I could get something to bring the flare up down.

 

I don't think metronidazole (especially topical) should have any ill effects/symptom revving, but I thought I'd check with others and see what there experiences were. I've been feeling symptom free for a while now, so I really don't want any symptoms popping back up.

 

Just for reference, I've been off of 10mg Valium (having transitioned from 0.5mg Klonopin) now for about 21 months, and have been feeling fully (well, 99.9%) healed now for about 11 months.
