I'm 70+ days Klono free, and months free of Oxycontin, Soma & Methadone, also Elavil, and NOW Ambien! I'm also almost off Requip, which I believe was making my muscle cramps much worse!  Now I'm not having RLS, how ironic considering it is used for RLS .  I should be off it in a few days.  I feel empowered now that these pills are a thing of the past.  My worst symptoms are nerve pain, muscle cramps/spasms, spine pain, tinnitus.  I'm making headway and I'm so thankful! 

 

I take many supplements & herbs, and they are definitely helping me make progress.  I'm sleeping at least 7 hours a nite, which has been such a blessing to healing.  All I'm taking is .125mg Requip, 10mg Flexeril 2x a day, Vistoril 50mg 2 @bedtime & .50mg Clonodine 2x a day.  No opiates, and NO BENZOS!  :thumbsup:

What an idiot I was to C/T off it all, but I'm so glad I'm almost done and am healing.  Thanks sweets, I'm getting my brain, health back & sense of humor too.

So happy for you as well, MountainGirl! 

I take Requip for pre-existing RLS and don't think it has to be tapered… that's what I was told by a pharmacist… no dependencies with Requip.

Challis, that's what they all say, we know that story too well don't we?  lol I read up online, ppl do have side effects going off it, fever, dizziness, others, plus it helped me sleep, so trying to dodge a bullet, and go off slowly.  My dose is low, but still, made so much progress, don't want to chance it.  Also I cut flexeril and requip both in half this weekend, realizing they were dopamine agonists, and had horrid cramps for 2 days, so easing off it.  I'm staying on the Flexerils, I need them with the horrid fibro I have.
