Has anyone come across a 24 hour helpline to get to a real person when anxiety really sets in? Please list any if you have come across any.  ~Terrain

I have a number for an urgent response team in my city. Brighton England. I have called them a few times. Perhaps you could see if your city has an urgent response team or mental health helpline?

I've used online anxiety chat forums in the past.  It's not the same as talking on the phone, but it does allow you to interact with others in real-time, people who understand what you're going through.  I found it really helpful.  Search for "anxiety chat" and you should be able to find a few.
