Need Advice - Valium Cross Over

Hi Guys,

 

I'm currently a 0.2mg Adivan, it's getting rough.  Holding tight for now until I stabilize.  Just wondering, anyone think it's a good idea to do a carryover to Valium?  Just looked it up and I'm probably around 1-1.5mg of Valium, so probably just stick with it eh?

 

Started taper after 7 weeks @ 0.5mg daily, currently at 5% drops x 2 weeks.

Ativan has a pretty short half-life.  You have damn little med in you by the end of the day.  Crossing over can even that hour-to-hour variation out, but:  1) it will cost you time to do the crossover; 2) it may cause more problems than it cures; 3) the end of valium tapers is often also challenging to people.

 

If it were me, I'd try to stick with your current approach.  Hold for an extra week or so if you need to regroup.  Maybe it would help to split your dose (if you're not already doing that).
